Exact. It takes all the normal beauty of a phone and it is not cute at all

It's a painted, not swirled, AE. More photos at the link, while it lasts. Starting bid asked is $50.00 plus $17.75 shipping.

Wow, quite a hippy Phone. Pity the colors of the body and handset do not match. I wonder how they got that effect.

Looks like it's been painted by use of swirl painting, basically put, you paint the phone with primer, you have a tank of water onto which you slosh a load of oil-based dye or paint on the water's surface, then swirl it about a bit to create some pretty pattens, then dip the parts in, lift the out and admire your work... :)

Doesn't always look good though, some people can go a bit overboard with how many colours they use, like with this phone... :o

I have absolutely no doubt that there are people who are willing to pay that for this phone.

But it surely is one for the Hideous catalogue.

Here's the same phone minus the rhinestones for $19.

http://gadget.brando.com/super-model-telephone_p01152c038d001.html

Y'know....for $19, it's awfully tempting.

Lets put it this way, stick this phone in amongst your others and everyone will notice it!

Just don't hang it on the wall or it'll start sagging over time... :D

I collect red telephones, so I probably can justify buying it to the wife.
