I think somebody mistook it for a pickup truck bed & sprayed it with bed liner ;)

Pictures do not do it justice and it is really very uniform. Last thing I need is another black 302, but for now I am holding on to it....Doug

It looks great the way you've put it together Doug. I've never seen one like that either.

I do no think anything was done to this phone, the detail in the texture is consistent all over the surface. I did offer this to Remco for the Museum, but they did decline. It does not photograph well, but to hold it and feel it ....looks real to me. I will hang on to it and thank about it another time. Thank you all for your input....Doug
