I believe there is a technical hold-up for uploading the latest edition of Section M, but a prior version was uploaded several years ago to the TCI Library. If you are still unable to find it and the newer edition has still not yet been uploaded, then you can:

I had that mixed-up, the first Section M was of the later edition, 1975, while the one being currently scanned is dated 1970. In any event, here is the later edition:

Are you looking for this specific date ?
I have 1973 and 1975 versions of the section.

I have Catalog 11000 TA75 M Station Equipment October 1975 and TA75 N Coin Telephones and Accessories April 1975 but nothing from 1970. Strange that a 1970 edition would also called catalog 11,000 like the 1975 edition is when there is a whole series of them 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000, 10,000 and 11,000.

I have TA 57 from 1957 so one would think that a 1970 edition would be TA70. Sort of like the AE Base Codes, I cant figure out some of their catalog numbering either!

Catalog 11,000 was an open-ended, continuously updated sectional catalog, not a closed one-time edition. Therefore, it makes sense to keep multiple sections from different dates.   Older section often list the dates of the previous sections, so it easier to reconstruct the edition history.  In my collection I created placeholder files for some of the older versions of sections.

PS: I have a placeholder file in place of catalog 10,000 (dated 1961-01).   Does anyone have that ?

So we're the 5,000 through 10,000 likely all hardbound and then the 11,000 likely the first to be in updateable sections? My 8,000 (red) is hardbound and has 10 or more tabled sections but doesn't have subscribers equipment in it. As close as it gets is payphones. I have seen some of the other coloured versions on eBay over the years.

I don't know about "hardbound", they may have had ring binder or similar bindings, but I believe they were fixed issues.  Perhaps some of the circulars and bulletins were used to update the last catalog, similar to the Circular with the color Monophones in early 1940s.

It appears these open-ended catalogs came into style in the late 1960s, not only at AE, but Northern Electric/Telecom had a similar concept.
