The most common "phone from" is "phone from car".
In 1990 Southwestern Bell started promoting other  "Phone From" payphone locations. There were 4 other" Phone from" locations that they made signs for:
"Phone from Horse" (Phone 80"off ground)
"Phone from Bike" (Phone 50" off ground)
"Phone from golf cart" (Phone 50" off ground) Should be 48" same as ADA
"Phone from Boat" (Phone is mounted 36" off dock)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note all mounting heights are to the bottom of the coin slot.
ADA measures from the top of the cradle rest, which happens to be at the same height.

Here is a link to the only article I have been able to find.
The Paper is from "Bend, OR"  Dateline is Oklahoma City  8/30/1990

NOTE:The link brings up "Dear Abby". scroll to the right for " Callers can sit tall in the saddle, Cart"

I found an illuminated "Phone from Truck" sign on eBay. Starting bid at $199 which is to high, I would rather find a flat metal marked SW Bell.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
eBay link https://www.ebay.com/itm/Telephone-Phone-From-Truck-Lighted-Sign-Rare/293408069633
$199 starting bid.  $350 BIN, about $40.00 shipping.
It is a scarce sign, They made very limited quantities of "Phone From" signs that weren't  car. My guess that "Phone from Truck" was the most used after "Phone from Car". Just a guess.

On the first  second post of this topic is a PDF with my Phone from signs.

The "Phone from Truck" sign ships out of Lincoln Nebraska. Since it isn't marked SWB , it isn't the one I need to finish the collection.

My guess is that it is probably a Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph (LT&T ) sign.

Side note regarding LT&T:
LT&T was an Independent, They offered many different brands of telephones for their customers. They had pocket BSP's very similar to early Bell System BSP's . The cool thing about a LT&T station BSP is that it covers all the different telephones they offered their subscribers.

SWB had a round booth sign that looked more like an Independent sign than a Bell sign . They  used them at areas boarding Bell and Independent territory. I have some of the lens in blue.
These signs were used by SWB.
See the photos below:

The phone booth sign is later, late 80's early '90's.
The booth looks like a wheelchair  booth. I don't see an accessibility  sign in the photo.

In Colorado we went with boothette style payphones at a lower height. These phone were mounted at golf cart height.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another sign "Phone from" sign I would like to find is "Phone from Wheelchair".
I doubt they made any. I think they went with the "wheelchair emblem/phone" sign
The only style I have seen or heard of is  the old-style  handicap/wheelchair  emblem split with phone.
I am looking for a SWB sign with that emblem .

Below is the original wheelchair emblem and the new ADA emblem. I like the ADA emblem better.

I could be in the market for an ADA payphone sign, preferably SWB.
