REnickeling telephone parts-recommendations?
« on: June 30, 2016, 05:14:42 AM »
Dennis Hallsworth (Dencins)  has indicated that he unfortunately will no longer be doing nickel plating due to health reasons. Can anyone provide  recommendations for individuals or companies that renickel brass or steel other than New England Chrome  and John Larose. What has been   your personal  experience with these sources?
Thanks,
Bob Farber

I understood Dennis had put off further plating until he finished his move to his new home ?
When did he say he wasn't doing it anymore ?

I was wondering the same thing. I even checked all his posts, and he has never mentioned anything like that on this forum.

I have 2 to send him. If he is retiring from plating, his work sure will be missed!

As many know my intent was to resume plating once we relocated to a new house.  However some recent health issues have changed my plans.  The consensus by several medical specialists is if I stop polishing, eliminate working with acids and change my diet, the issues will be controlled without any further medical actions.

Telephone collectors are a great group of people and working with you has been very enjoyable.
