The 16th annual San Jose Telephone Collector show occurred today.  There were 20 tables piled high with a huge assortment of primarily desk and wall phones and a small number of very nice wood sets.  The JKL Museum had the largest number of offerings at bargain basement prices, providing many collectors an opportunity to acquire sets that they might never have had the opportunity to purchase.  There were two very nice Western Electric key equipment displays and a large assortment of items sold for the benefit of TCI.  One of the nicest features of the show was the live auctioning of a John Infurna replica Red Cross Mouthpiece provided by John.  Bidding was spirited and the winner, Russ Kirk, walked away with the prize.  Recorded vintage music was provided by cohost, Hal Belden.
