ITT Common Audible Units

well.....someone had them, and now they are mine! I got 4 CAU's for my ITT 576 phones. these could even be used on my 544's! I tried to connect one to a 564 and it failed.... I wired it as instructed and got no signaling. finally connected the black wire to my T1 connection and got "Some" signaling... but nothing like what I was expecting.... Test Results: Failed. Requiring further testing.... Based on what I'm seeing, this unit is a version of a Diode Matrix....
