Strange Ericofon

I see this weird Ericofon on eBay. It's rotary but has dtmf buttons on the front. It looks like the dtmf buttons are add ons, perhaps by the owner. The buttons say softtouch on them, which I think if it was made by Ericsson it wouldn't say anything. What do you think?

Yes, I finally figured out how to copy and paste the annoying impossible to copy eBay auction pictures by capturing the image on my screen.  ;D

Looks like a Tone-Dialer just rigged in there.
I am a lineman for the county and I drive the main roads. Searchin' in the sun for another overload.  I hear you singin' in the wires, I can hear you through the whine, and the Witchita Lineman is still on the line.

That makes sense, and then the owner might have bought a custom shell for the phone.

Custom shell or maybe just cut very nicely where the mouthpiece was.

The transmitter is probably in the little hole between the '7' and '8' keys.  Look at: http://www.paul-f.com/softouch.htm.
