Brass Kellogg Grab-a-Phone
« on: August 12, 2017, 01:48:37 PM »
I got this  awhile back, it was covered with lacquer. I think it was put on to keep the shine, but ir looked like oxidation to me. It was a mess and I just had it sitting on my work bench. Brasso and fine steel wool, and less than an hour, this baby shines. Bakelite handle, receiver and transmitter and a cool bakelite cover for the shaft

I have never seen one in Brass, either nickel of black paint. receiver is all taken apart so its just a display phone.

I do like a brass shine!!...Doug
