New power disconnect panel
« on: December 17, 2017, 12:34:03 AM »
Here is a view of the new Emergency power disconnect panel that i built.
Top panel is new, not the one with the meters.
The purpose is to have a automatic shut down when we have a long A.C. power fail, this is to save the battery's from to total discharge.
Like everything i do it takes a long time to complete a project. As of 12-16-17 its not yet connected. hope to have project done within a week.

Is this for your system Phil or are you working in the JKLís system? If the latter can you give us any updates on what is or will be there?

What will trigger the shutdown from running on battery?

This is for my system, JKL has come a long way in the last 1 1/2.
Ill be there February or March. Hope to be 80+ % finished this year.
Not sure when they will be Officially Be open. This Museum will be a upgrade from the last.
They have acquired some very nice one of a kind items.
The SXS will be 400 lines of WECO, 200 lines of S.C X-Y and 100 lines of ITEC.
They also have a 2 cabinet 756 crossbar, and lots of Mitel digital.

They have a few photo's on there web site.
