Regarding  the early style 1045 cords,
 At one point I did find a computer cord "socket" that seemed like it would retro into the 1045. If you have an older style 1045 , you may want to check your obsolete computers to see if you can retro a modern computer cord "socket" to it.

Just found 3 on eBay.
The most expensive one ($282.43) seems to belong to someone thatís from another world.

On the pricing on 1045's:

I have picked up 3 or 5 of them over the years, and have never paid more than $60 for one.
So you know, if WE are the only people that even know what they are used for, just wait out those sellers, and the price WILL come down (if they ever want to sell em!).

And as for the older ones with that plug-in cord, you can easily modify an older computer cord to use.
