I was tempted. I thought it was Grey. Jan said it was Green, so I let it go. Dated 5 55 but it had been refurbed....Doug

Bad lighting, but it is green. Another giveaway is the 9c dial with the domed f/w.  Dark grey was long gone by the time this dial was used.

"Gray Green" was the first "Green" WE used for phones. Even though Kellogg used different colors, they were pretty much identical to what WE used.

That dial actually looks like a #7 to me, but with a closed-center fingerwheel. I think Kellogg actually started using the later fingerwheels once they became available in 1959 for Kellogg's Princess twin. (What was the model for that again? I can't keep track of the different names for 4 different phone models split up among 4 different companies)

Of course you don't have the phone to look at but shouldn't the color code be on the dial back?
