Just kidding! I bet you thought it was a sacred ORCHID that had ripened and turned blue, didn't you?

Professionally repainted . . .

Seller Description: "This is an "AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC" model 40 bakelite telephone. -- The chrome trim on the caps, the carry-bar, plungers, fingerwheel, fingerstop and number card holder really sets off this beautiful "Aqua Blue" color. -- It has been Professionally painted and coupled with the chrome and the new black cloth cords it presents a stunning phone that's going to look good anywhere! -- A lovely display or a working telephone for everyday use. It has been completely tested and is in great condition!"

The seller is Cliff, who recently purchased Nick's large collection. That phone looks like one of OPW's. Thay have a lot of painted phones they add the rings & fingerwheels to.
