beautiful C mount with 495 subset and Tea Bells
« on: November 03, 2018, 03:41:55 PM »
I never get lucky, but that may have just changed a little. Earlier this year I got a beautiful C mount spacesaver and have been looking for a nice subset for it ever since. I really wanted a 495 with the exposed bells. Today when scrolling I found this beauty. Seller wanted 140 plus shipping. I offered 130 and it was accepted. So, now I will have a beautiful C mount spacesaver to sell and got this excellent Tea bell subset to complete the whole thing. Super excited, I tell you, super excited.

just fabulous

Butch.

That is a really nice set!  I  have not heard that particular set of gongs referred to as teabells... I know them as B**BY bells.

Attached is a photo of what I have known as teabells, or sometimes called Liberty Bells.

I want some of those eventually as well. I will bet they sound awesome. I am imagining the sound from the b**by bells is kinda high pitched, I will know shortly. Thanks for the clarification.
