You have a OST receiver.  OST = Outside Side Terminal.
I couldn't tell you much more than that.

I’ve done a search but can’t see any threads on this.
Could you clarify please, it’s not something I am familiar with.
Is it desirable?

Solid receivers were not used on WE,sC.Kellogg ect S H Couch and other smaller componies used them, sometimes on intercom sets.Not worth as much as WE longpoles

kellogg did not use  them. I think they were made by Murdoch
