this is cosmetically a beauty. Shell is a very shiny faded to brown Bakelite. Cap is marked WE I43-AW cap that fits perfectly, but the insides are nothing I have ever seen.

The grey core that wrapped around the receiver element was broken in half and continued to break apart while I was trying to put it back together

. It is not stable at all.

I tested it before it fell apart and it did not work.

The receiver screws into the Bakelite shell.

Is this a WE Receiver?....Doug

It's a Kellogg with the wrong cap.
