I would be remiss if I did not use my Feb 1951 500 that has some Dec 1950 dates inside.

I'm not 100% if I'll be able to make it to the conference call, but if I do I will use this phone. It is a Stromberg Carlson call director. It's connected to the KSU, so it lights and up everything. Interestingly it was built without a ringer in it. It's very nice to talk on it too.  ;D

I had to think about this.  I decided that since D/P put a lot of effort into bringing his phone back to life, I chose a phone that I did the same, the one that was the worst condition when I got it, which is the beige 59 500, also my first 500 set.  Here's the before and now pics.  (Note:  The color difference has to do with two different cameras.  The second pic is the true color.)

Excellent point Remco!

Thinking along that line, I'll put a SofTouch dialer on my 500 set...

Remco;
What type phone is that. Is it made in Europe ? The handset reminds me of AE.

That is a good point about which TT device to call in with.
I gave it some thought and decided to use a 1968 Round button trimline. I wasn't going to daylight this set until the Lyons show, however, this is a special occasion.
The phone is a transparent engineering model 1968 rd button IC trimline They are classified as a 2220B-1 set.
The last 2 photos are production models, both are rebuilt sets from the mid 70's.

After alot of rethinking, I have decided to go with my first choice for tonight's call--my 12/50 500.  Besides being the oldest 500 I have, it's also the first one in my collection, so I've had this one the longest.

You know I think I'll use my Beige Trimline to dial in with just to keep with the old phone rule entirely.

Glad to see AE represented on the call Remco. And a more quirky phone from AE could not easily be found!
