Does anyone have a simple troubleshooting procedure for WE 500's.
Maybe meter readings at certain points of a good operating phone both connected and disconnected, from the line plus Ringer coil readings and other related components.
How to check a network ?

The diagram for the 500C/D (http://telephonecollectors.org/library/weco/500cd.pdf) shows 1000 ohms between the black and slate ringer wires.
