I saw that a 2AB dial without the proper dial plate just went on ebay a few minutes ago for $58 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Western-Electric-Candlestick-Telephone-2AB-Dial-Part-/370431563174).  I cannot wait to get the one I bought.

Larry, out of curiosity, do you have a scanner that you could use to scan your dial plate when you get it?

Here are some (blurry) pictures of the dial.  It is a 2A, and has no date markings that I can find.  It turns properly, but there is some rust, so it will need a bit of cleaning.  Sorry, Bingster, but I do not have a scanner.

It's interesting that the dial is stamped "2A" directly into the metal on the back of the dial.  Anybody know if that was normal for #2 dials?
