a rough 746 and an eternal optimist

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GPO-Cream-746-Telephone-/170623327652?pt=UK_Collectables_RadioTelevision_Telephony_SM&hash=item27b9f15da4

"A cream 746 phone. Internally looks in VGC with everything in its right place and connected up. I have not been able to test this as it does not have a modern BT plug fitted. Dialling action is fine.
The body has discolored quite a lot and there is a small piece missing at the back and two small cracks from the back corners. Its marked 746 GNA 73/1 on the backplate. The dial does move but stiffly and does not spring back to its start position when released."

Starting at 112 pounds and fifty new pence, I don't think so sunshine...

Nice internal shots though.

An eternal optimist who's hedging his bets - he's hoping for 14 quid or, if he's really lucky, that some sucker is out there ;D

And if you were to bid and win both auctions? That could be interesting.

Seems it was a slip of his keyboard, the first auction is starting at  13.50 now, still pretty ropey specimens, chipped cases and gummed up dials.
