Anyone watching the TCI list saw a great story of a guy who received a Pink Princess that was found in an Antique store. "Gram-pa has to have that!!"

Well when my youngest was ten (she is now completing her Masters at Simmons) she had a friend who's mother owned a Consignment shop. There was a perfect Porcelain Pay Station sign for $30. She saved all Summer doing odd jobs... dog walking, baby sitting etc with no help from anyone and I got the sign for my Birthday!!

Open mine first ......open mine first. You know the drill. Well it was perfect ....Heavy Nice and Phoneco! The look on her face was just about the best thing in the world. Do you like....do you like....isn't it cool....I bought it all myself. She was soooo proud of herself. She knew just where she wanted it to hang in my room. Place of honor, really good viewing spot. I took down my perfect NET sign and placed her find there. No one knows but me.

It is my best sign. Every time I look at it ....I smile.......Doug

Did I mention that she is a Graduate Student at Simmons in Boston. Fifth year 40K ++ a year! Think wisely Big Daddy

All kidding aside, I was kidding wasn't I

....it is well worth it. So I work until I'm 80 and die poor........

Small world, I received my Master's at Simmons! And yes, it is a women's college.

Doug, that gets the "funny as heck without being mean" award for the week at least!

The best I can come up with is, "That's Rosie to you sir, and I was a riveter in my last life. You may have seen me on an old poster or something:-)" But yours is better.
