"Tip Points" Best way what is a D161488 Connector
« on: February 07, 2009, 07:15:32 PM »
I'm trying my first wiring using a mini network. What is the best way to do a "tie point "  when connecting to cord leads together? I don't know what a D161488 conductor is. Any suggestions

Thanks

I believe that's an Automatic Electric part number??  If so, and you're just talking about connecting spade tip to spade tip, it's just a little plastic box that snaps together. You put the ends of the wires with the spade tips inside and snap. Voila, the connection is made.  You could always solder/heat shrink the connections.
