I’ve got one close to me, but the guy that owns it won’t sell. He also has it outside his business on the side of a busy street.

I fixed the picture.  I can’t get a response to my posts, but a sideways picture gets an instant response.

19and41, yes absolutely.

Whitcrane76,

thanks for posting that, what a difference some red paint and new window panels would make to that lovely old phonebox with the earlier Tudor crown.

The climbing plant is definitely due for a prune before it takes over completely.
Do you have secateurs? :)

Just found this site which has images & geographic locations of K6s....

...including this well-maintained box at Roos in Yorkshire.

Photos 1 & 2:

Out on the Central Underground Line, suburban Wanstead in north-east London has this K6 outside its Tube station.
The postbox next to it is a rare Edward VIII one. As he abdicated as King after reigning for only 326 days, there are only about 100 of them.

3 & 4:

K6 with old petrol pumps in Shadingfield, Suffolk......was still working last time I was there.

Thanks for posting those david@london.

That poor old phone box and pumps. We need to find an old photo of them in their prime for comparison...

Maybe I could get Terry Biddlecombe to pick one up for me, he lives in British Columbia. The problem would be the drive across the county to pick it up from him. :)

A K6 booth just came up on eBay this morning. Located in Texas. Stated as "rough condition" with a best offer option.

In terms of condition it doesn't look really bad. Shame about the crack at the top, but it does appear mostly complete.
