Those were the days eh?  When I got my first cell phone I thought it was such a rip off that they were going to charge for both directions, I mean come on, I did not start that incoming call so why should I pay for it, right??

Wow this is an old thread!

Dennis, I was wondering if you ever got to try that boiling water trick with the warped case, I have a warped 302 case that I would like to straighten out. It's off of my first 302 and when I bought it I didn't really care about the warping, I was just so excited to get a hold of a 302 I probably would have gladly tried to restore the set in this thread.

(Edit) I should add my case isn't nearly as badly melted or warped as this one, ha.

As you said it was a long time ago.  I don't remember trying the boiling water trick so I probably didn't.  Sorry, I can't help you with this method.  Perhaps someone else out there did try it.
