Metal Strowgerphone before restoration
« on: October 30, 2012, 05:22:01 PM »
Here we have a metal bodied Strowgerphone which is need of a little bit of restoration. The dial is a typical AE type which is also found on the Indian ITI phones. It looks as if the phone has been kept in a damp garden shed or similar. All the components appear to be OK and are present. I do have the other Strowgerphone which would need the additional bell set and which was made for the Portuguese telephone administration.

Have a look at the pictures which are self explanatory!!

Any comments are welcome.

Interesting phone. Definetly an extensive cleanup with all that rust!
