No, it is not parked in my garage because it doesn't fit, but you can see this beauty and many others at this museum. Best of all, you can visit for ... FREE!

There's another one with enclosed front wheels.  It looks like the Talbot has much more room inside the wells than the Delahayes, though.  Very pretty.

Let us not forget the Blastolene custom built car either, with the 702 cubic inch GMC V12.

Yes sir, GMC made a 60 degree V12. It was based on their V6s which started at 305 cu. in. all the way up to 400 something. The V12 used 4 V6 heads, 2 intake manifolds/carburetors, but used one casting for the block, a 1 peice crankshaft and a very long camshaft.  I had a '60 GMC bus with the V6 (351 cu. in.) in it some time ago. A friend had one in a pickup truck. Great engine, well made and really bad on gas.  There is a site dedicated to the GMC engines for more info.

I had never heard of that engine until now.  It's a beaut.  Interesting tidbit:  When Packard created the first twelve cylinder automotive engine, they called it "Twin-Six,"  which is what this one is called, too.

Cadillac in 2003 introduced a 16 cylinder engine with 1000 horsepower and 1000 foot-pounds of torque.

I almost touched it!

It's a shame Cadillac didn't put that into production.  It was a stunning car and would have worked wonders for the division's perception among the public.

That Caddy is AWESOME!! I am not into the big rims but I love everything else about it.
I am a lineman for the county and I drive the main roads. Searchin' in the sun for another overload.  I hear you singin' in the wires, I can hear you through the whine, and the Witchita Lineman is still on the line.

That Cad is cool.

I know this will seem uber weird, but my 79' VW diesel Rabbit was one of my favorite cars of all time.  It got nearly 60 mpg, had a 18 gallon tank, and was really pretty quick and fun to drive.  I rebuilt the engine on it, did all the work myself, and learned it inside and out, finding it to be a very logically made and solid little car.  I also liked the rather pedestrian looks of it, it was what it was and had no pretense about it, just simple cheap transportation that was reliable day in and out.  With that large hatchback and folding rear seat you could fit a surprising amount of stuff in it.

Now if only it had AC... :P

And here's my Impala I bought last week.

Wow Tom, those are some slick rides.

McHeath, I too like those old VW diesels. Back in highschool, a friend's dad had the pickup truck version of the Rabbit.

It's a 2000, I beleive it was a city car.  It still faintly says "Metro Patrol Unit" on the push bar.
