Do you think this was a movie prop?

Wow, that's definately a conversation piece!
I am a lineman for the county and I drive the main roads. Searchin' in the sun for another overload.  I hear you singin' in the wires, I can hear you through the whine, and the Witchita Lineman is still on the line.

ROUND TWO...

So a three foot Princess isn't quite your style?  How about a humongous D-Mount, instead?

Wow. That's a beautiful piece of fine art wood sculpture. :D
Too bad about the missing dial.  I would have liked to see that.

The dial would probably be fairly easy to replicate, I think.  A large disc of masonite could be painted white, then with an opaque projector, the numbers and letters could be painted on by hand.  Another masonite disc, with circles cut out of it would make a perfect fingerwheel. Not sure about making a number card frame, though.  That might be tough.  If I had any way to pick this up, I might think about trying for it.

I used to enjoy doing a lot of theater and some movie set design and prop work in my youth and had fun doing all kinds of things like that.  The opaque and slide projectors were in use all the time, giving very photo-realistic and accurate effects in the painting. A very handy tool.

I'd also go for the D mount, but I'm looking for a seemless handset.
