Another point about my clear 2500 is that it is a non-modular body. Any of the other clear 2500's I have seen were modular.

Here are a couple more clear 2500's from eBay.

I have noticed that.
The hardest thing about collecting clear telephones is finding good examples at reasonable  prices.
You have done very well acquiring unusual examples clear phones., and you have been doing it pretty quick.
I am impressed,

I have to say it's all about the education, reading and listening to what other collectors have to say.
Networking and always ask the question "Do you know anyone else with any telephones?"
Sometimes it's just luck. Being at the right place at the right time and know the limit of what to spend.
Last but not the least, I have a very understanding wife!  :)

I smiled, chuckled and felt happy.
Thank-you

I bought a White 1967 NE 1500 10 button for $30.00 earlier this month. It had been updated a few times over it life time with a Northern Telecom body and handset that were yellowing. It didn't have any matching dates, so I decided to do a body and handset swap. I picked up a clear body and handset off of Matt Jennings at Oldphoneworks. Another clear to add to the collection.

Now all you need is a clear ten button face plate.

That would be nice, if one exists.

WE made some 10 button back painted faceplates. You could strip one of them.
I stripped a back painted 12 button  faceplate. I put  it face up  in a glass pie tin with  a little brake fluid,  and after the paint loosened I used  parts brushes. I was carful to use only a little brake fluid and I kept a close watch on while the paint loosened.

Yea I was thinking Ray would be the ideal candidate.
