I have two F1 Handsets. The one on the right doesn't work. I just noticed the contacts are different than the left handset that works. Is there a different element for the right phone in the photo? Or are the contacts wrong in the right photo one?

Is there somewhere, where I can buy a different set of contacts?
It looks like I'm shorting out the handset receiver element with the current contacts.
The right handset has internal wires molded into the handset. Where the left one has loose wires going to the receiver element.

When you say "doesn't work", do you mean that you can't hear anything?  Did you try a different receiver capsule?

I don't hear anything. I did try another receiver element and that one didn't work either. Today I changed out the contacts in the bad one with the good one. The trouble followed the contacts.
It looks like I have two right contacts, instead of a right and left one.

While I don't know about different receiver sizes for the F1;
I use use a multimeter set to 'ohms' to check handset wiring with the handset disconnected from the phone and both transmitter and receiver removed, then again with both installed.
With both removed I test each wire from the phone end of the cord to its contact in the handset.
With the transmitter/receiver installed you should read some resistance across the pairs at the phone end, if you get a reading around zero its shorting.
You could also have a short in the cord so wiggle the cord around while testing.
You can also test transmitters and receivers themselves with a multi meter set to ohms, so if you don't have one I highly recommend getting one, a cheap one costs under $20.

Yes. I think you nailed it. Simply replace the one contact and you should be good.

The contacts look correct to me.  I have handsets here with the same types.  If they were being shorted by the receiver, my guess would be the one or both need to be bent outward a bit.
