I talked the seller down to $60 shipped for this gem.  I usually wouldn't have given it a second look, but I did and noticed the screw shaft and early base, which can be a tough part to find:

That'a a great find.  You just don't see those screw shafts very often.  I have one that started life as a hand-held microphone, which I mated with a dial base many years ago.  If I had it to do over again, knowing what I know now, I'd have left it original.

Thanks.  It doesn't appear to have a screw-shaft switchplate.  I have a home-made screw shaft that I made out of a junk normal shaft, and although it came out really good, it's still a reproduction, So I'm glad to get my hands on this one.  Hopefully that receiver will clean up nicely, and I can always find a use for an AT&T marked transmitter.
