Not much left of the phones, but there are a lot of them! Sorry if this has been posted before. I didn't see it.

Wow, I wonder was is storage for telephones and parts.
Then just went abandon and when someone renovated threw all those sets in the basement and left them.
But I'd say that's mid twenty eairly thirty's at some point got used a storage for old phones and parts. Then forgotten.
Too bad really..

A few screen shots of the phones, the last one is the base of the key set shown in the 3rd photo.

There's some treasure in that place.

Have skipped about through the footage but not seen any phones (haven't time to watch all 24 mins of this at the mo), how long into the clip are the phones?

Did spot this nice potential phone display unit at 8:30 though  :)
Very similar to something I am putting together.

Love these old places. Nicely designed and some even nicer wood in there.

Towards the end is the phones,, in the basement area.
I made the supposition that those bin shelves were perhaps used for phones and parts, then when they revamped the building someone too all the old phones and parts to the basement. And left them there.

Goodness :o.  No doubt many of us would like to rescue and restore some of those spares. I'd like to know the story of why there are so many varied makers parts, and why they were dumped that way. Maybe they were originally obtained for lessons and/or school projects.

A few more screenshots from the clip:

Sad seeing that old AE handset with the hole broken in the top.
