I was so excited to find this fan I didn't realize it was missing one of the supports.  >:(   BUT I don't think it would have mattered.

This is first day of cleanup and I am happy with it.,,,,so far!

You could not even see the label on the cage through the layers of paint.

Cage is bent and I will try to straighten it. The fan does work but missing the label over the back of the control.

I have never seen this WE Brand. Made in Hawthorn so I guess that was the designation.

Now to find a bracket....Doug

Howard only WE fans, I got a one in July at Brimfield so one of them has to go....never seen the Hawthorn designation, I know it was a WE Plant....Doug

Doug, I think that's a rebranded Westinghouse fan. The blades spin opposite (CCW) to a normal fan.

Witty

Good job cleaning that up Doug.
As Howard alluded to, there are a lot of fan collectors out there, and several nice fan collection websites.
Your fan looks awesome!

Thanks Ken, only a few WE fans, this is my second big one, that means one has to go.

If anyone has a support arm that they think will fit, please let me know.....Doug

If I had to choose, I would keep the Hawthorn. It is prettier. How big is it?

Hawthorn is 17" across the cage and 20.5 top to bottom.

I need a 6.5" support. Are they all the same?....Doug
