I have WE 317 that I'm considering a restoration on. During inspection I noticed a very faint outline of 'pinstriping' on parts of the transmitter arm. I recall reading somewhere that the long arm transmitters were embellished with a gold outline on either side but can't seem to find any pictures that show definitively how it should look. Does anyone have an example they could share for reference purposes?  I'm not sure if I could pull it off but I'm curious enough to do the research!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jim.
Don't know about that at all...
But will say this.
If you wanted to do this, judgin from other examples of a thin line trim,
I bet if you settle on a margin that pleases your eye, you could pull it off and only about 3 people would notice the difference.
The rest would be like, Dude, that looks awesome!!! great job! ;)
Good luck in your endeavor.
