I've read all through this and I find nowhere that anyone states the "RESET" button has been pushed,
or did I miss it?

I have pushed the reset button multiple times. It didn't change anything. The unit partially works, just no dial, busy, or ring tones.

In that case I hope you can return it for a full refund, it's a bit of a boat anchor if it doesn't work properly.
