Very old firewood phones  come from that area.

I meant to say very, very old and valuable early  telephone apparatus survived in that area of the country. Very high Dollar historical pieces.
Early is 1876 thru early 1900's.  This type of telephone can bring $1,000's.

Thanks, that makes sense. His ad is looking for wood wall phones with the magneto crank in the front. I have never seen one with a crank like that until I saw his picture. That's the thing with this hobby, always something new to see and learn!
