Title: Making a Kellogg Cathedral a working phone with new guts
Post by: jjflory on December 20, 2015, 07:20:22 PM
All,

Is there a person close to Dallas Fort Worth that could put the guts of a 500 series Touch tone phone into the Battery are of a Kellogg Cathedral Wood Wall phone and make it work?

Also what would be the approximate cost?

Thanks,

Jeff

I've been working on a WE 317E, it's easy getting the guts in, and replacing the transmitter and receiver elements, and wiring in the ringer etc. The problem is the hook switch. I haven't spent much time trying to make it work, but when I get it, I'll post it.
Here's a photo of the receiver conversion.
