I don't collect wood, but this beauty has me tempted.  :)

Wood collectors, your thoughts?

Very Nice. The indicator drop things are very cool. I am assuming the covers drop when that line is in use, Cool!

How much?

At the moment, approx US dollars 90, CAD 118.

Ecouter (2nd earpiece) missing (should be on the bottom hook), but I have a nice one of the correct year 1927 (give or take) in my spares, just have to check if it is by the same maker (Thomas Houston).

More pics, inc inside:

Either some one has gone to great length to carefully remove all the wiring, or it's never been used. So you'll have to rewire the whole thing, and that is not really a bad thing here, because you can make it do what you want it to.
But it's in incredibly beautiful condition.

It does look like there was wiring in there. See picture attached, wood is discolored in the marked spot where the harness was laying on it.

The cord to the left of that is for the handset, so I wonder if that mark is from the missing listener (ecouter) cord?

With a strap that small, it would almost have to be.
The incoming harness, would need to accommodate about 40 wires...guessing
Man...that looks nice. But a lot of work to wire it.
