Purchased this gem off of eBay for around $65-70.  The TYPE 73G is basically the same as a TYPE 21 box.  These were the top boxes of three box phones but were recycled as magneto boxes throughout the early decades of the 20th century.  This one has not been recycled-the posts are still present and there are no extra holes etc.  Now all I need is a backboard, battery box and #5 arm!!!

Magneto crank was missing, this is from another phone.

Barn fresh, complete with crud and bugs

There was not much internal wiring in these, binding posts are outside and the induction coil was held in the base of the #5 arm

Not sure what type of ringer this is

Embossed Patent Dates

Missing the nuts and washers on one post and the top nut on another.  Check your parts boxes!!!
