I recently purchased this phone at a yard sale and am starting the restoration process. There are no markings on the phone to identify the original manufacturer making it difficult to know what parts to look for.

One of the main items to find is the missing shelf. It seems to have been a folding shelf given the two hinges and single lower support. Early research indicates folding shelves were mostly a Julius Andrae & Sons thing but other aspects of the phone don't match images I've found on line and there is no tag or holes where a tag might have been which was present in all the on line photos I've seen.

I recently purchased a phone from a yard sale and am starting the refurbishing process. I'm trying to identify the manufacturer to help with sourcing some of the parts.
The most notable is the writing shelf. Given the hinges and single lower support it appears to have been a folding shelf. Initial online sleuthing suggests it is likely a Julius Andréa & Sons as they were the main manufacturer know for folding shelves. Some things aren't consistent with the photos of Julius Andréa & Sons phones I've seen on line such as the lack of a name tag or even the holes of where a tag might have been mounted.
Rather than getting too wordy in my first post, let me throw up a couple pictures to help get a conversation started with anyone that can help and we'll go from there.
   Thanks!
