1950 Model 500 for $22 BIN on eBay

Bought a 1950 Model 500 on eBay! Network is 5-50. Equalizer is APR 3 1950. Ringer is 7-50. 7A dial is 8-50. Case is 9 5 56 1. Base marked A/B with no date. Not bad for $22.

Yes. I could see lots of paint overspray but it wasn't the case I wanted. I thought it might be a 1950 or 1951 based on the A/B on the bottom. I have an immaculate June 1951 case for it. I'm overjoyed to have it! Best $22 I've spent in a while.

Wow, you lucky guy.  I was wondering why I didn't see it, as I am constantly scouring E-Bay, but I see why.  Ma Bell swapped the original dial face with a later injection -molded one, so I didn't pay attention to it.  Great find, as 1950 500s have always been few and far between.
