Western Electric 317 Magneto

New here but just inherited a 1913 WE #317 and would like to get it somewhat working again. Back when I was a kid the bells would ring when you cranked it, however now (after my parents moved several times) the magneto gear doesn't contact the crank wheel. I can't figure out how to adjust them and they seem to be mounted in the same casted metal.

Any help is appreciated.

It appears the side plate on your magnito is pot metal and distorted. someone might have a better brass one off a bad unit
