I was at an estate sale today, and found a 302 with a broken cradle and missing the handset, and also a nice pink 1702 ten button Touch-Tone Princess, for all of $2 each.  I also got a spare dial for $5.

The 302 is for parts, but I should be able to polish up the 1702 and add it to the collection.

Now this is the kind deals I'm talking about, good for you sir.
Looks like a nice, Kellogg dial?

There are certainly more than $2 worth of parts in the 302, but the Princess could go for $150 or more.  You did well on the deal.

The dial is marked:
DIAL TA-45C/GT
ORDER NO. 16395-PP-59
NANASI CO. INC.

It looks like a Automatic Electric dial.

The Princess is dated 4-65, and all the parts are dated close to that.

Yes, that is an early 10 button DTMF dial which are rare and being on a colored princess makes it all that more rare.

Instead, just get a shell and a handset off of E-Bay, and then sell it to get part of your money back, instead of removing a 302 from existance.

I cleaned up the 1702 Princess.  I didn't go too far, just a little scrubbing and some Novus No. 2.  I tested it, and after cleaning the Touch-Tone dial contacts and replacing the lamp, it works just fine and looks good.  I put on a matching pink 4-prong plug as well.

I'm also attaching a photo of the 337 transmitter I got at the same estate sale, also for $2.

Love the Princess®    Does it have the light bulb?  Nice number: 2468
Area Code 605 is the State of South Dakota.
I'd take an educated guess but am unqualified.
In paramediclass, doctor asked me signs of Alzheimers.  "I forget.", I answered.

Lighted Princess® telephones are our favorites!

To ensure an emergent transport call, I need only:
- take first sip of beer when eating pizza
- start shampooing in the shower
- pull bed covers over and get warm and cozy
- begin my OCD oil change.  (Remove oil plug to drain overnight.)
