Hello all! I'd lurked around for a long time and finally became a member back in September, but failed to introduce myself.

I began working in telecommunications in 2001, and came up through what was kind of the wild west of VoIP at the time. My grandfather worked for Mountain Bell for 40 years, and the longer I stayed in telecom the more I wish I'd been able to pick his brain on what he'd done during his career.

After slowly discovering my growing interest in classic rotary phones, it's been great to have this site to reference everyone's shared knowledge. The hobby started a few years ago and continues to take hold. I recently found my first 302 and a 5302 (the first I'd seen in the wild) at a great antique shop on the Oregon Coast, and it felt like Christmas morning!

Other than "newbie-phone-collector," I'm also a husband, father, and musician.

Current collection includes:
- AE40 Monophone
- WE 302
- WE 5302
- WE 211 "Space Saver"
- WE 220 Rotary Trimline
- Stromberg Carlson "Crab Claw"
- WE 554
- A few various 500s
- A couple of butt sets

Thanks!
Mike

Hi and Welcome to the forum! I usually warn new members about Phoneitis but it looks like it is too late for you. Phoneitis is a progressive incurable disease and it looks like it has a hold on you already. Your dozen or so phones will keep increasing and probably expand into different colors of different models or all models of a brand, maybe some tools or ephemera? If you need some evidence of how bad it gets just check out the members collections thread. Also, we LOVE pictures. Please share some of your phones.
