Jan likes her find and wants to hang it in the house....outside the Phone Room. Which is a win!

My question is what would have the Hanging Handset hooked on to, The ring is the hookswitch and moves easily, but I don't want to put a brass Tea cup hook into the box to hold it.

Any ideas on what was used in the past on this or any ideas would be greatly appreciated...Doug

Pretty much a brass Tea cup Hook.
Look at photos to see the hook design.

There are some photos in one of the Dooner books. I think the first one (yellow cover).
I think the hook is pretty much a plain tea cup hook.
It is your phone. If you decide to go fancy on the tea cup hook, go for it.

just put the hook on the wall next to the 315. interesting how someone made use of a subset for a manual phone... normally these sets are attached to a 202 or even a 302A phoneset...

Got the 315 up today with the Hanging handset.

This is the foyer off of our side door the leads to the Family Room and the Kitchen.

The table and beveled mirror are yard sale finds that I refinished and brought back to a "paint-less" life. Many layers of paint.

I have never seen another table like this. Adjusts the heights with an old wood mechanism....Doug

Love old wood too, Doug! I have a couple pieces.
Wuz thinkin...
Don't know how you did the hook, looks good tho.
butcha cudda used the mag mount on the bottom to hold a hook too. no extra holes. ;)
Just my 2 1/2 cents worth. ;D

Hey Rod.....I had ordered large nickel hooks from Amazon and they cancelled on me today. Out of stock! First time Amazon let me down

So I went with the small Brass Tea cup hook that Jim thought was right. Just a small hole, but that wood is tough screw into, right by the magneto screw.

Worked like a champ. I am very happy with it...lDoug

Nice!
My grandma used to do all the string things.
She had several delicate white pieces she made along the way on the tables in her house.
Remember them like yesterday.
Wish I had a couple!
