The first phone I bought for my collection in 2021 is a 1981 Northern Telecom Rendezvous Phone - Clear.
I was corresponding with an eBay seller about another item, and they mentioned this phone.
We struck a deal for $100.00 plus shipping.
She posted it high as a BIN or offer. I submitted my $100.00 offer and won the phone

I will post some more photos in the clear topic later.

Ha, ha I get it. I thought it was NT smoke tint as well.

Actually it seems to be  clear that went smoke vs yellow. The Number card window is factory smoke tint.
I have seen the NT factory smoke tint number card covers before.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I have seen a NT smoke tint in this model or the similar model that has a handset stem.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a side note I have a WE smoke tint trimline housing as well as a WE smoke tint trimline that was acquired later.
The housing was from IN and the phone from CA.
WE smoke trimline

My NT Solo is more of a Yellow than smoke.

Well mine is not a clear set, though I wish it were..
I found this local a few days ago, cleaned it up some but it's a TAM 11 set, wall mount in Rust, it had a great cord and just some light scratches that I hand rubbed out with Semi chrome polish.

I paid $15 for it I've always liked the Rust color and the TAM sets in general. I saw an estate sale, mid winter is very rare around these parts, but I said what the hey..
Saw this and asked the price was $25 but a little dikering got it for $15.

A phone phanatic since I was less than 2 (thanks to Fisher Price); collector since a teenager; now able to afford to play!
Favorite Phone: Western Electric Trimline - it just feels right holding it up to my face!
