The last model made with rotary dial i n Norway.
This was made from 1967 to 1982.
The case is the same as Sweedish LME dialog, but the sicuit is different.
This is "full transistorized" with electronic ringer, and dynamic transmitter.

The phone is orginally grey, but the color has been yellowished probably by tobacco smoke.
This one has international dial, but if you want, i may change to reverse dial for Oslo/NZ.

It is not cleaned, but in working order.

What do I expect in return?
A commonly used telephone from your country from before 1980.

Best regards.

Yes, definitely!
LME and EB cared this plastic molding tool, which was expensive at that time. The sweedish dial is quite different, and from this picture the nut in center is typical for LME, but never used by EB.
Inside, The LME used a traditional granulated carbon transmitter, EB used dynamic, and a transistorized amplifier. LME used an electromechanical ringer, EB used a transistorized and the microphone as loudspeaker. (Not the earpiece to prevent loud ringing in your ear when tapping the hook)
The sound quality of the EB telephone is remarkable high, and I doubter any better has been made.

p.t. Lillehammer (holiday in rain)

It seems like the holiday are raining away, so I'm back again.
Here is the schematics.

Is it really no one out there who want this one for their own collection?

I like the phone, but really don't have much to trade for it, besides, shipping would be expensive.

You are probably right, the postage will probably be more than what you payed for the phone you send.  On the other hand it seems to cost about the same for sending 2 telephones :D ??? Maybe someone has a good idea? I may have an extra 1953 model too, but the only special wit this is the posibility o\f using it as a wall telephone, just rotate the dial.  (The picture is not mine.)

What kind of shipping costs would we be talking about to California?

dsk

The 1967 in a box will weight just under 2 kg, this will cost me approx $43 as a letter. (witch seems to be a "hole" in the system)
A parcel will cost $77 and may contain everything within the volume of a box of:
50 x 30 x 20 cm.
But I pay what I send, you pay what you send.
I have just an idea of sending from you may be cheaper. Just don't use DHL I don't like their service-level.

I ran the numbers and it looks like about $40 to send a WE 500 to Norway, more or less.  So I'll have to pass on the offer, though the phones are certainly interesting.
