Can anyone ID this handset?
Seller says it is Bakelite. It is one of a bundle alongside Northern and AE.

ETA: Additional photos.

Thanks. :)

could be an early Kellogg handset, but the earpiece is different, so it may be european....

That would be my guess as  well.

The way the cord enters and the shapes of the transmitter and receiver caps look British to me.

There are two possibilities I can think of at the moment:

  • Australian 400 series handset
  • Indian 600 series handset

I think it is the former.

That post rattled my memory.  I thought that the handset looked familiar.  I have that handset on my Australian PMG 300AT (forum link).

That's not the correct handset for a 300AT, it should be on a 400AT.

The GEC/ETL 1000 type used that style of handset - https://www.britishtelephones.com/ericsson/1000type.htm
The one I have is marked 'GEC' but I can't tell if the one in the photo is marked.

The PMG 400 and ITI 600 handsets are derivatives of the GEC handset. Ericsson used their own handset on their 1000 series.

This one is probably the GEC handset after all.
