I have a 616 Easa-Phone and the manual states that Ext. #11 MUST always be a KX-T61630 phone.
That leads me to believe it's probably the only one able to program the Essa-Phone 616 and the only phone that can be plug into that ext. and work. But, yet I see you all talking about a KX-T7030 to program the 616. Did I miss something or is it always this confusing? LOL!
And naturally I can find the 7030's every where but no 61630's.....at least at a reasonable price (under$75).

You can plug any phone into port 11 and it will work as a phone.

For programming, you need a phone that has a digital display and a 4 conductor line cord. A 2 conductor (red/green) only line cord will not work for programming. The above topic lists Panasonic programming phone model numbers.

Programming phones have a switch on them to toggle the phone between normal phone and programming phone mode.

Ah! I must have missed that, thank you sir.
Ya know I've had this Easa-Phone for about 10 years now and have never had the time to hook it up.
Plugged it in once and it came on but, with trying to make some extra money making pipes I never had the time till
now to set it up. I'm sure I'll keep you all posted on how it comes along. Need to get a phone to program it first
and plan the lines needed. Thank you again sir!

I use to make Briar pipes. You can see some of my work at http://rdpipes.briar.club/
When I gave up smoking I quit making pipes, although I miss it and made some good money doing it I have to
leave it all behind now.

Cool! Those are some amazing pipes, great work. Now you have found a replacement "hobby". As you probably have already seen there are plenty of things here to keep you busy. Enjoy!

Yeah, I've been playing with phones for some time now off and on. The only problem is it can get expensive and I'm not bringing in the extra to support it and I can't do both and have the time for both. Just Danged if I do and Danged if I don't situation. But, we'll give it another try for awhile, LOL!
And thank you sir!

Your pipes look amazing. When I was a kid, my uncle smoked a pipe. Loved the smell.

I would think there would be a market for your extra income even though you have decided not to smoke any longer.

I had a friend who had a pipe collection that was passed down and displayed. He would ad a few here and there, but he did not smoke...just a thought....Doug

No, when I quit smoking I quit making pipes, I've got enough sins in my life to be forgiven without
making more by continuing to make pipes. For you see, if I cause anyone to sin by anything I do, it
is a greater sin then the original. Being addicted to nicotine or anything is a sin.
