Here I am talking about Modular wall mounting plates meaning the plate that mounts on the wall for a wall phone, and not the back plate that mounts on the phone to make it modular.....
I have always known there was a difference between AE modular wall plates and WE type modular wall plates. I just acquired some AE 192 Wall mount "starlites" . These apparently require a deeper modular female connector on the wall plate.
Dees anyone have or know where to get AE compatible wall plates , or am I better off mounting a modular connector on a wire?
as far as AE adapter plates go, Phonecoinc.com is your best bet.... I got rid of all my AE plates and just use WE #228 adapter plates...

I think i have come up with a solution that is an easy hack
