As I was talking to the proprietor of the antique store where I got the subset, I mentioned I may also be interested in Bell System paraphernalia.  Not sure why I said that, I'm not usually interested in phone paraphernalia.  So happened he had this red glass piece from a Bell System kerosene lamp.  All I need now is the lamp.  The "Bell System" lettering is apparently reflective as you can see in the difference in the flash and no-flash pics.  On the back side it says "No. 10" and an "E" with three elongated teardrops on each side below it.

Congratulations! Now, you only need the lamp. I'm quite sure you may find a helpful hand at:

Here's a different version of the red globe piece.  Mine was only $14.

I may be weong but I think the Bell System lamps were stamped in the metal parts somewhere as well as on the globe.

That's right.  We have two of those lanterns, only one has a globe.  It's a red globe that's etched BELL SYSTEM instead of embossed.  Both of the lanterns have BELL SYSTEM embossed around the base in rather large letters.

I have the exact same pair of lanterns, with the exception the upper lantern, mine is Blue.
